- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Have been here numerous times with my kids & it is hit or miss. Depends on who you get as a Dr. Sent 19 year old son in today with chronic ear infection with severe pain and they sent him on his way with no pain killer or ear drops - nice. ATTENTION: WHEN SOMEONE COMES IN WITH PAIN YOU MIGHT WANT TO GIVE THEM SOMETHING!!!!!!!!! THAT'S WHY THEY ARE THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ear infectioins are painful - give them ear drops for the pain until the amoxicilian kicks in --- I didn't go to medical school but I got that one figured out! Before that he was in with a shattered ankle they put him in a wrap and sent us for pain killers - got to pharmacy & they had the wrong patient name on the perscription - that only took another hour to fix while he sits in pain. Then the next day they just slaped him in a thigh high cast -- got smart went to another hospital (private) and the Dr. said he need surgery immediately and my son ended up with 9 screws and a plate -- if we wouldn't have gotten a second opinion I cringe at what his leg would looked like. Bottom line be you're own advocate and never let a loved one go to the clinic or hospital alone.
